After an extensive search spanning several years, McLellan Labs has successfully located a suitable expanse of farmland dedicated to the cultivation of Myrothamnus Flabellifolius, more commonly known as the African Resurrection Bush. This distinctive 19-hectare parcel of land is strategically positioned on the eastern Drakensberg Escarpment, nestled within the Low Berg Escarpment on the border of the Free State region.
The inherent characteristics of the land make it a natural habitat for Myrothamnus Flabellifolius, aligning seamlessly with the plant’s requirements. Currently, McLellan is actively engaged in negotiations to secure an initial 10-year lease for this exceptional plot, with plans to initiate cultivation in the near future. This proactive step comes in response to the escalating demand for McLellan’s extract of Myrothamnus Flabellifolius in the Asian market.
